Thanksgiving

PRESIDER: With great faith and confidence, let us now present to God our intentions. For every prayer let us say: LORD, GRACIOUSLY HEAR YOUR PEOPLE.

1. That our Church leaders may inspire us by their faith to bring God’s joy and peace to a world in dire need of hope and love. Let us pray to the Lord.

2. That our government leaders and politicians will find effective solutions to rehabilitate the victims of typhoons. Let us pray to the Lord.

3. That the sick especially the members of our own family and the families affected by typhoons will find comfort and healing in the Lord and in generous people who are God’s instruments in binding up their wounds. Let us pray to the Lord.

4. That all of us gathered here will always give thanks to God for everything He has given us for free and share ourselves to serve others especially those who are in need. Let us pray to the Lord.

5. That those who have gone ahead of us especially the members of our community will be purified from any ugliness of sin so as to enter into the presence of God in the new heaven and new earth. We pray.

6. In silence, let us present to God our personal intentions.

PRESIDER: Loving Father, in this life and the next, our hope is in the cross. Grant our petitions as we praise you for your mercy through Christ our Lord forever and ever. Amen.
